Information we collect

When you contact us to book a ride, we typically collect:

• Contact details — your name and phone number so we can confirm your ride. If you call, text, or message us on WhatsApp, we keep the conversation so we can coordinate your ride.
• Trip details — pickup address, destination, pickup time, and any special requests.
• Payment information — credit cards are charged ahead of time from our office; we do not store card details after a transaction is complete. If you pay with Venmo, Venmo's own privacy policy applies to that payment.
• Email correspondence — if you email us, we keep the message so we can respond and maintain service records.

This site does not currently host an online booking form. If we add one in the future, the data it collects will be covered by this policy and the revision date above will be updated.

How we use your information

• To schedule and complete your ride.
• To reach you about pickup timing, changes, or delays.
• To keep basic records required for running a legitimate transportation business (insurance, accounting, CPUC compliance).
• To follow up with you about a specific ride if needed.

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not send marketing emails or texts unless you've specifically asked us to.

Sharing your information

We don't sell your information — ever. We may share limited ride details with:

• Our drivers, so they can find you and complete the ride.
• Service providers who help us run the business (accountant, payment processors such as our card processor and Venmo, phone and email providers), only as needed.
• Law enforcement, if legally required.

This website, cookies & analytics

This website doesn't have accounts or forms and doesn't run advertising trackers. Three outside services are involved:

• Netlify, our web host, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver and secure the site.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
• Google Analytics tells us how people use the site, so we can make it easier to reach us: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (city level), what kind of device they use, and when someone taps a call, email or other link. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga) to count return visits. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't send it your name, phone number or anything you tell us on a call. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. This site doesn't track visitors across other websites; its analytics only cover visits to this site. The site doesn't change its behavior based on that signal, but you can turn analytics off with the opt-out described above.

Children

This website isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them online. Rides for minors are booked by a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult.

Data security

We keep the information you share with us confidential and use reasonable measures to protect it. No system is perfect, but we treat your details the way we'd want our own handled.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we have about you.
• Correct or update anything that's wrong.
• Delete your information, unless we're required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
